through the eyes of a dog

aah that was a good nights sleep, but I still don't want to get up. I would love to stay in bed all day long. I think I will. Uuh the bed started to move, I knew my momma was getting up. Now I will have to get up there is nothing to keep me warm now. "Come on Honiee, lets go bye bye" boing I was up in a flash. I just love it when I get to leave the house. So we were walking out the door and of course I had to go to the restroom. Well finally we went in the car and my momma put my stunna shades on me

I love those glasses they work really good to keep the sun out of my eyes. I didn't really know where we were going but I was up for the ride. I looked out the window and watched all of the cars pass by. The I see PETCO! I loooooove petco my mommy always buys me neat stuff, like balls, chew toys, and just all kinds of stuff its amaaaaazing there! So there I am jumping at the door, jumping, jumping, jumping. Finally the door opens, I shoot out of the car and towards the store. "HONIEE" , I hear, oh no I know I am in trouble now. Man now we are going to have to leave. "Get over her" so I slowly walk towards my mom, "come on" wooh wooh we are still going inside I'm so excited, so excited, so excited! Running in circles around my moms legs. yaaaaah I am soo happy! Balls, balls, balls, yeeeeeees im getting a ball! wooh wooh. so i get some balls then we get back into the car to go home. I'm jumping again waiting to get out of the car
Yeaah I got my ball right when we got home. Yes so excited! Oh noooo I have to go in the cage. Nooo
Just when I get a new ball I get in trouble. I guess next time I will just wait instead of hurrying in..

stupid media

I think that it is pretty sad that an American hero's death was not even acknowledged. It is ridiculous that no one really heard bout it. If it was my great grandpa or my grandpa it would really hurt my feelings that there was nothing really said about it, and so much said over Tiger Woods having an affair because he thinks he can do what ever. It is people like that, that do not deserve all the money and publicity that they get. People like Ed Freeman should have all that and more, because not just anyone would do something like that.

A Justin man, who missed his exit in Denton two months ago, ended up in the right place to save a life. The dramatic rescue along I-35 has now put him in a place with finalists for the highest national honor awarded to a citizen for valor - the Citizen Service Above Self Honors.

He and the woman he rescued met Wednesday to reflect on how tragedy was diverted. Bryan Jacobs said, "God puts you in certain places to do a certain thing at a certain time." That's why he says he missed his exit to Corinth on January 11 and ended up on I-35 in Denton looking for a McDonald's.

Instead, he saw a woman slumped over the wheel of a moving car. It was Andrea Sumner. She was on her way to run an errand at Denton City Hall when she blacked out.

Bryan Jacobs noticed something wrong and pulled up along side her. He found her slumped across the passenger seat. Her vehicle was still moving at about 45 miles an hour. Jacobs eased his pick-up truck in front of her car and gradually slowed her to a stop.

Sumner was examined, doctors discovered she had a brain tumor. She says she doesn't know what would've happened if it had taken years to discover it. She's grateful to Jacobs. "It just caught me in the heart. I couldn't believe what actually happened. I was very very glad that he helped me."

Sumner said she didn't know who else was up for the award but she believed in her heart that Jacobs deserved it. Jacobs said he's glad he did it for Sumner, who is back at work as the operations coordinator at the Denton Municipal Airport. Jacobs said he's also glad he did it for his kids so they can see how much someone appreciates when you go out of your way to do something for them.

But, Jacobs said, he didn't do it to become a 'hero.' Jacobs said, "The word hero for me, I reserve that for people that do it every day." Jacobs said he was just where he needed to be doing what he was supposed to do.

sr poem

being a senior is so fantastic
sometimes seems just like magic
we rule the school and everyone knows
graduation will be a great show
no one can wait to get this spot
cuz once your here you know your on top

it doesn't last long so we try to prolong
the end of the year from coming on
but when it does we give great big hugs

grab our diplomas and throw up our hats
and run out this school like there is no turning back

so bye Childress High School, some times have been good

That poor lady, her stuff was all jacked up, her doors were locked, utilities off, and her precious pet was missing. I'm sorry but all of those utilities cost alot of money just to get turned on. So that is super ridiculous Well if I was to come home and my house was all locked up and MY things were damaged there would be H-E-double hockey sticks to pay..No one would want to be around me, especially if MY pet was missing..man if honiee was at someone elses house and I had no idea were she was there would be a serious search party going on. That bank sure would be tired of hearing from me because when I was done talking they wouldn't be able to hear anymore. I would do the same thing that that lady did but I would be way worse, they would think that I was a crazy lady when I was done with them! I would be sure to get them for everything they were worth,, that bank wouldn't even be a bank any more. It would just be a building with vaults in it because I would be sure to empty them out! I hope that lady does get them for it all because she deserves it after all of it. What makes me the maddest is the parrot part, because a pet is like your child when you don't have any. So yah go lady!
